Start the He-Man Diet Today!
Ever wonder how He-Man stays in such great shape? Well, those abs and that ass don’t just come by the power of Grayskull. Oh no, He-Man has to eat right and exercise. I was at the state fair today and happened to see this sign advertising He-Man’s very own recipe for healthy living.
Mmm mmmm! I ordered three. Later at the hospital, after my open-heart surgery, I could feel the power of Grayskull coursing through my veins. Oh wait, that was the IV.

That makes me somewhat ashamed of being southern

seriously, can someone explain to me what that menu is about?

“Taters” are potatoes. “Mater” is tomato. The “onyun” thing is a cutesy spelling of onion. Cornbread is a southern staple with meals, like a corn-based cake. Sweet tea is exactly what it sounds like. It’s simple syrup (sugar and water) added in large amounts to iced tea. Apple dumplin’ (dumpling) and peach cobbler are basically pies. “Deezert” is another cutesy pronunciation of desert. So basically the whole description is a parody of a US Southern dialect.
Or maybe it’s Eternian.

Thank you!! Im a fussy eater, Ill go back to KFC (yeah, I know you don’t approve)
Another question - ‘Fixins’?
Posted by on 09/11 at 06:56 PM
Fixins are akin to calling stuffing and mashed potatoes “the trimmings” of a Thanksgiving dinner.
Peach cobbler w/fixins = Peach Cobbler with vanilla ice cream and probly some kind of sauce drizzled over it.
Oye.. they’re really making me ashamed of my southern-ness.
