Oh, this does make me giddy! Before adorable little Simon Pegg was in Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, he was in Spaced, a wonderfully quirky little Britcom steeped in fanboy lore and references. To promote the new DVD box set of Series 1 and 2, the stars and director of Spaced are hitting the road for a mini-tour, including San Diego Comic Con! On Friday, July 25, Simon, Jessica Hynes and director Edgar Wright will participate in a panel discussion on the series and will also do multiple signings throughout the event. Then, as if that’s not enough, there will be a screening that evening of three episodes chosen by the fans. They’re also stopping in New York, Los Angeles and Austin. So, if you’re in any of those cities, don’t miss out on this cool event! Check out the official tour site for more information.
I think an American version could work. It would be sort of the anti-“Friends.”

There was an American remake in the works for the longest time, but there was a lot of negative press around it. Last I heard they decided to drop the idea.
I have to thank Havoc for getting me started on this show. Once I started watching, I couldn’t stop, then was sad there were so few episodes in the whole run. I would love to see some sort of special, and yet the whole thing ended so nicely, that I don’t really need it.

Ah memories!
That fateful day of seeing Jessica on Doctor Who—-but not instantly recognizing her—and wondering: “Why is the Doctor into this old girl?”

She’ll always be Jessica Stevenson to me..
I love Spaced, I was with them right from when the first episode aired and one of the few who wont complain if they ever get round to making the ‘special’ to tie up the loose ends. Im sure ALL the rest of their fanbase who are begging them to do this will complain like hell about it after they do it. such is the nature of the fanbase (in general)
