Larfleeze Appreciation Week continues! Even before his heroic turn in Blackest Night #8, I was loving me some big orange Larfleeze. I’ve even been talking up Mr. Fleeze all weekend at WonderCon. Yeah, it’s a real conversation starter with cute guys. So, I’m pleased to dedicate our Quote of the Week to the master of greed himself. If you’re not familiar with the story, Lar is an Orange Lantern, representing avarice. In the heat of battle, Ganthet summons another greedy bastard to join the Orange Lanterns: none other than Lex Luthor himself. Needless to say, he and Lar don’t exactly get along. Larfleeze wins out in the end, though, and proudly proclaims:
“Victory is mine, baldy! And if you had any hair, I’d take that, too!”

Poor Lex. While I admire his single-minded sense of entitlement, he’s no match for the egomaniacal greed of Larfleeze. He’s certainly captured my imagination, and if I had a heart, he’d take that, too.
