Can’t stay long. Have to go wait by my mailbox for the new issue of Details, featuring Daniel Radcliffe. Apparently, in the interview, Daniel reveals his dream role is to play a big old queen: “I think part of me would love to play a drag queen, just because it would be an excuse to wear loads of eye make-up.” For those who would scoff, this is actually a huge step forward for young Hollywood actors. Not long ago, hunky young stars would do revealing interviews where they’d admit they’re just dying to play serial killers or gays. So at least he wants to play a drag queen for the eye makeup and not because it’s up there with serial killer. Daniel also reveals that he lost his virginity at the age of 16 to an “older woman.” I read that a few times, then decoded the secret hidden message. Older woman. Old(er) (wo)man. Old(er wo)man. Oldman. Gary Oldman. He lost his virginity at 16 to Gary Oldman! You read it here first, folks.

Disclaimer: Having sex with 16-year olds is wrong and illegal (in the US), even if you’re Gary Oldman (especially if you’re Gary Oldman). Fanboys of the Universe does not in any way condone this behavior.

The Doctor totally needs a tranny companion! Make it so! Daniel just doesn’t want to follow in the footsteps of Barty Crouch, Jr.

You know there was a rumour he was actually asked to take over from David Tennant AS The Doctor???
He said he’d turn it down flat if offered as he’s not a Doctor Who fan, so I’m sure he won’t be a companion, even if offered the role of a tranny companion, which lets face it in this era of Doctor Who wouldn’t be too out of the realms of possibility LOL

HE looks quite intense in that pic, maybe he could be the next companion to the doctor. smile

Chance, according to the interview, one of his earliest roles was as a gay teenager in a short film called Must Be the Music.  He also played a gay character in the 2005 werewolf film Cursed (so the article claims…I haven’t seen it myself).  He recently had a meeting to discuss playing a character in a movie who’s a man transitioning into a woman.

16 is legal age in the UK, but unless its two young people it doesn’t seem right to me, but then I prefer guys a bit older and more matured smirk

It was on the radio today that he announced he’s not interested in having a girlfriend because he wants to concentrate on his carreer. The DJ emphasised him not wanting a girlfriend and seemed quite chuffed about that LOL

Tallstar, you’re right! How did I miss that?! Johnny, what gay roles is Milo taking on? I’m not sure I want him to.

Did you notice it says ‘Old Man’ on the cover? heh

  • Johnny M 09/04/2008 06:04 am

Wow…what a cover.  He looks positively smoldering.  I hereby renounce my ban on younger men.

In the most recent issue of The Advocate, Milo Ventimgilia from Heroes talks about how people call him “brave” for taking on gay roles and his response is essentially wondering why it’s considered “brave” when it’s just a role and gays are just people, too.
