Right now, Heroes. My all time fave is Naruto. I’ve been following the Japanese releases since 9th grade.
Things I Collect
I like buying all the old toys I used to play with when I was a kid, like the original Power Rangers, Creepy Crawlers and Monsters in My Pocket. Though lately I’ve been collecting very obscure, odd necklaces. Mostly with weapons attached to them.

Favorite Fanboy of the Universe?
I dig Vale. He pretty much has the powers I would want to have. And he’s one of the bad guys. I usually root for the antagonists or underdogs. Also, he’s “cold and calculating,” meaning he’s smart about what he does. He wouldn’t just rush into a scene like Montgomery. By the way, it’s been a year. Where the hell is chapter two?
Boxers, briefs or commando?
I usually go with boxer briefs. I did the commando thing for a while, but skinny jeans are not your friend when you’re free-ballin’.
DC or Marvel?
Out of the two, I’d have to go with Marvel. DC is kinda vanilla and tame for me. The good guys are too good. Marvel is a bit darker, more violent and a little more interesting in my opinion. I like a bit more chaos in what I’m reading. Which reminds me of Chaos! Comics (RIP), which was my favorite company ever when I was growing up.
Last movie you stood in line to see? Where the Wild Things Are. My favorite kind of movie: super sad, but pretty to look at.
Video game you’ve spent the most hours playing?
Probably Kingdom Hearts or some of the Final Fantasy games. Any RPG takes hours upon hours to finish. And then some to get all your guys to level 100. Unnecessary, but totally fun to do.
Most played song on your iPod?
Most played, it says, “A Walk Through Hell” by Say Anything. Probably my favorite song ever.
Movie line you quote the most?
I can quote Fight Club word for word, but in actual conversation, I usually quote a lot of Mean Girls. “I wanna lose 3 pounds…” or “You smell like a baby prostitute.”
Favorite geek-out activity?
Going to Big Apple Comic Con with my cousins. It’s around my birthday, so it’s something I really enjoy. The con is like Christmas, Halloween and the 4th of July all rolled into one for me.
Best action figure ever?
I had a bunch or Archangel action figures. He was my favorite when I was a kid. Wings on humans fascinated me. Him, or Lady Death from Chaos! Comics. She has the biggest tits on any action figure I’ve ever owned. They’re gigantic!
What are you most likely to do at a comic convention? Shop, go to panels, meet artists or check out cute guys in tights?
I usually only go to Big Apple. With that being said, NY has the hottest geeky guys, hands down. So scoping them out is always fun. But it’s usually all business for me. I hunt down a lot of Frank Frazetta and Simon Bisley stuff. But lately I’ve been all about Sam Keith. So I’d say 90% of my energy goes to shopping or lusting over what I can’t afford.
You’ve been recruited by the X-Men. What is your mutant power?
Mind control. I think that’s the ultimate super power. But I want it on a grand scale.
Which previous Fanboy of the Month would you ask on a date?
I’d have to go with David (September 2009). He’d be fun for a night…or two.
Best boyfriend material? Wiccan, Northstar or Obsidian?
Wiccan and Obsidian are taken, right? But Northstar is always dying. So, I’ll go with Wiccan. Wait, can I have Hulkling instead?
Who would you switch teams for? Diana Prince, Selina Kyle or Emma Frost?
They all scare me. But I’ll go with Emma, since she seems more interested in sex than the other two.
Superman has Kryptonite. What is your greatest weakness?
A sweet talker with a killer smile. I’m a sucker for a sweet talker. Mix that with booze, and I’m a goner.
Most desirable superhero tattoo?
I’m having a whole leg dedicated to The Maxx. I told myself no more small tattoos. Go big or go home.
Using the drag/porn name equation (name of your first pet + the street you grew up on), what would yours be?
Max Baywood. Sounds very 70s porn stud to me. I dig it.
It’s time for your Jedi training. Which teacher would you prefer? Yoda, Obi-Wan or Qui-Gon?
Yoda for skills; Young Obi-Wan for after-training shower sessions.
Your ideal superhero three-way?
Thor for certain. He’s the only unapologetic muscle bear of the superhero world. I like ‘em big and hairy. I’d take turns with Thor, banging Hawkman. If I’m feeling frisky, we’d all flip for one another. They’re superheros; I hear they have incredible stamina.
Lunchtime Poll: You inherit 5 million dollars the same day aliens land on the earth and say they’re going to blow it up in 2 days. What do you do?
Well, I don’t think 5 million could buy my way off the planet to safety, so…I’d blow as much money as possible on a posh hotel suite, a ton of Viagra and Red Bull. Then just constant ass until the world blows. Go out like a rock star.
Bonus Question Which comic book character best describes you in bed and why?
I’d have to go with Mr. Fantastic. I’m super limber and flexible. Plus, I like when bigger guys can pick me up and make up some interesting positions. But also like The Flash, because I like it quick and dirty. Okay, okay, just one more…Morph from The X-Men. I like to change and adapt to what my partner likes. Whether it be passionate, romantic or sweaty and rough. I like to be the best I can for him and be exactly what he wants.
