This looks like it’d be a kinda decent adaptation of God of War but this doesn’t seem particularly like the goofy 80s romp the original was. How are they possibly going to fit in the goofy golden robot owl?
A couple other minor little quibbles, they don’t actually have any titans clashing in this one right? Not even in the original? And there really is no point to the “looking into Medusa’s eyes turns you to stone” bit if her hair eats you first. I minored in classics, I was so into Greek mythology in elementary school, but for whatever reason the big goofy fantasy-historical picture that seems more appealing to me is that Prince of Persia one. Granted this is just me basing my decisions off the trailers and how Gyllenhall is surprisingly hot with the accent and shaggy hair.
I’ll go see it, but maybe it’s just how the trailer is cut…I have reservations. It looks a lot like 300 with less flesh and more monsters, and as pretty as that film was, it was kind of meat-headed. Nothing can replace Dame Maggie Smith, but this looks like it might be pretty cool.

Oh I am definitely on board. It looks pretty sweet, and Sam Worthington! *drool*
Interesting. . .
