When planning November’s Fanboy of the Month shoot, I knew I wanted to get out of the studio setting and do something different. I happened to be at my local comic book store and was suddenly struck by the colorful and visual wall of new comics. Figuring I had nothing to lose, except maybe my preferred customer card, I asked my Sexy Comics Monger (SCM) if I could bring a guy in, strip him down and take some pics. Without missing a beat, SCM muttered, “Want me to throw some back issues on the floor, so he can roll around naked on them?” SCM has a talent for teasing me into an instant state of stuttering, stammering arousal. It’s a problem. But the good news is that FBOTM Marc is full of confidence and felt totally at home in a comic book store, making it that much easier for him to get comfortable for the shoot. We skipped the “rolling around naked on back issues” part, but will definitely keep that in mind for next time!
