Greetings from Las Vegas! This is the last stop on my cross-country trek back to Los Angeles. I’ve missed the City of Angels and look forward to visiting my old comics monger, going to El Capitan to see Toy Story 3 and getting reacquainted with the inimitable men of California, including June Fanboy of the Month Moses. For now, though, I’m still in Vegas. And what better place than Sin City to talk about Moses? That smile, those eyes, that body. But like all fanboys (and FBOTMs), Moses is more than just a pretty face. During his shoot, we talked about parallel universes in Fringe, the lack of Maggie Smith in the new Clash of the Titans and whether or not Blackest Night had a point. In fact, when I get to chatting with a fellow fanboy about all the stuff we love, I sometimes forget the task at hand, which always leads to the awkward, “Um…yeah…could you take your pants off now? And what about those crazy Red Lanterns?”
Moses is a sweetheart, though, and countered all my dorky awkwardness with his cool, easy-going charm. So, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing him (and all the Los Angeles FBOTMs) again. I just need to lose a little more money in the casino, then I’ll be on my way. If I had an extra day or two, I’d try to schedule a Las Vegas FBOTM shoot, because there are some hot, geeky guys here. Plus, I have this gigantic bathtub in my hotel room, which would make a great centerpiece for a shoot. Maybe next time…
