"Now, if Marvel really wanted to show the reader what was going on in this long-winded, exposition-heavy issue, they should have just typed up a bunch of rambling words, stuck them on the cover and had the X-Men snoring away in the background from sheer boredom."
-Brian Andersen on Astonishing X-Men #35

FBOTM

FBOTM Friday: Hellooooo Nick!

image

Perseverance pays off, kids. I’ve been trying to get December Fanboy of the Month Nick in front of the camera for ages. Scheduling, travel and work always seemed to get in the way of me getting him in the studio. After months of trying, we finally made it happen, and I couldn’t be happier. Nick is a diehard comics fan, a movie junkie and has a huge...toy collection. Combine all that with a killer smile, a sweet personality and sex appeal that’s off the charts, he’s perfect husband—I mean FBOTM—material. Lucky for us, we get to enjoy him all month long! Make sure you check out all of Nick’s goodies:

• Get your free desktop calendar, featuring December FBOTM Nick, on the Downloads page.
• Check out the first shots from Nick’s photo shoot in the Gallery.
• Learn all about Nick and his personal mantra ("Go big or go home") in his bio in the FBOTM Lounge.
• See more of Nick (and I do mean more) in the 2010 FBOTM Calendar! On sale now!

Finally, let’s take a look at Nick in action, behind the scenes at the FBOTM photo shoot:

I hope you’ll all join me in welcoming Nick to the FBOTM fraternity. Have a great weekend!

The stormtrooper shirt is from the Marc Ecko Star Wars line at Macy’s. They’ve been on sale lately, too!
