June Fanboy of the Month Moses made quite an impression last week, and not just in the virtual realm of cyberspace. According to Moses, after his debut on the site, a fellow site member recognized him out and about and asked him on a date! Awww. Bringing fanboys together; that’s what we’re all about here at FBOTU. It makes me wonder, though, if you saw one of the FBOTMs in your comic book store, at a convention or a movie, would you say hi? I hope so. I can’t guarantee that they’ll go out on a date with you, but I’m pretty sure all the guys are friendly enough to chat about the latest Gaga video or how insane Rise of Arsenal is.
Of course, you’re always welcome to become a Fanboy of the Month yourself. We have shoots coming up in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Atlanta. If you’re near any of those cities, just send me a PM through the Forum page, and we’ll get you scheduled. Work has already begun on our 2011 Fanboy of the Month Calendar, too, so if you’ve ever thought about being a calendar boy, now’s your chance!

A Northeast FBOTM shoot is a great idea. And I need to make it to Chicago, too. We’ll get there, or if I can start outsourcing the shoots to local photographers, that would speed things along.
