FBOTM Friday: All F**ked Up

For 31 months, FBOTM Friday has gone off without a hitch…until October 29, 2010…then it all went to hell. Last FBOTM Friday, as many of you have pointed out in concerned emails and Tweets, will go down in history as the first Friday in two and a half years without a Fanboy of the Month post.

Normally, on this, the first Friday of the month, I’d be introducing you to a new Fanboy of the Month. But since October FBOTM Ben didn’t really get his last hurrah, I thought it was important to give him a proper send-off. Plus, once you see the photos, I think you’ll agree it was worth the wait. So now our schedule is all f**ked up by one week. Everything was on track until the FBOTM shoot we had scheduled a couple of weeks ago completely fell apart on the day of the shoot. With no real backup plan, everything began spiraling out of control. Then I was sick all last week. Then on top of all that, it was Halloween Week!

So, here’s the deal. Mr. November will premiere NEXT Friday. Then we’ll have all of November to enjoy his awesomeness. I have a clever little plan in mind to compensate for the shorter month, so don’t worry. He’ll get plenty of exposure.

So, after this week, we’ll be back on track. I’m so relieved. Thank you all for your patience and understanding. The Fanboys of the Universe site members are the best in all the known galaxies, and that’s counting the outer realms.
