Judging from your emails, May Fanboy of the Month CeyJay made quite a splash last week! He’s been waiting in the wings for a while, actually, so I’m glad he’s finally made his debut. We did his photo shoot late last year, the same time we were doing a couple of pick-up shoots for the 2010 FBOTM Calendar. If you have the calendar, you probably recognize the sea of comics we used to shoot the cover with September 2009 FBOTM David. It took so long to spread out all the comics in such a precise way, I couldn’t bear to pick them all up without using them again. Actually, when CeyJay arrived for his shoot, David was sprawled on the floor, wearing nothing by a JSA comic and a smile, so CeyJay not only got an eyeful, but also a pretty good idea of what to expect from his shoot. And he didn’t disappoint. Fun, enthusiastic and up for anything, CeyJay was a blast to work with. But why did I wait so long to assign him a month? Let’s just say I was saving him for a special swimsuit issue of the Fanboy of the Month feature. Stay tuned!
