Down at Fraggle Rock!
After years of rumors, speculation and development, it looks like the Fraggle Rock movie is a go! According to Variety, The Weinstein Company and The Jim Henson Company are working together to bring Gobo, Mokey, Wimbley, Boober and Red to the big screen! Cory Edwards (Hoodwinked!) is set to direct. I loved Fraggle Rock as a kid and I’m looking forward to having them back in some form. And I hope they can get the original cast. It would be great to introduce a whole new generation to the Faggles...I mean Fraggles.
I’m so glad you fixed the typo in that statement that was released. I’ve seen it a dozen times on other websites and every single time they have Gobo spelled Gogo.
I just hope that he does a much MUCH better job at this movie than “Hoodwinked.” I hated the fact that I lost about an hour and a half in that movie. The little old horny goat was the only cute character in that movie!
Anyone else think those Dozers look like little bite-sized leather Daddys with their pics and hard hats?

I always get excited about the merchandising prospects for stuff like this.. I’ve wanted Fraggle figures since 1983.. Yikes, thats 25 years!
I thought Palisades were going to do them, but then everything went wrong for them
Perhaps we might atleast finally get a plush Mokey??
