Entertainment Earth is offering an exclusive Boba Fett bobble head in his original 1978 Star Wars Holiday Special colors. I have two responses to this. 1.) I can’t believe George would sanction any reference at all to the existence of the Holiday Special, but since he clearly has, I hope that means we’ll see Bea Arthur and Harvey Korman action figures in the near future! By the way, a fond farewell to Harvey. He was one of the greats and will be missed. And B.) What is up with bobble heads? They are everywhere! I don’t get it. Who collects them? What are they for? Can someone please explain the appeal of them? Is it because they always look like they’re drunk?
Only Bobblehead I have is Kryten from Red Dwarf, and thats ONLY because I had to have a Kryten and it’s all I could get.. I need to make me some Red Dwarf figures.
Thank you! I agree! It annoys me when I turn the corner of the toy isle and think I see new product, then realize it’s just a stack of bobble heads. What a waste of retail space.

I never got the appeal of bobbleheads either.

I think bobbleheads are weird. This lady at work had one and I couldn’t figure out what it was. One day I got really close and saw it was a George Lopez bobblehead. George Lopez. A bobblehead. Why? Granted, he does have a big head, but why?
Anyway - I don’t think I’d even buy He-Man Bobbleheads.
My favorite bodybuilder, Lee Priest, even had his own bobblehead for a while. They’re everywhere! I used to have a co-worker who would camp out in front of the Metrodome when they would release new Minnesota Twins bobbleheads. She had a whole room of her house dedicated to showing them off.
