In case you don’t have it marked on your Fanboy of the Month calendar, Fanboys of the Universe is turning two years old tomorrow! I still don’t know whether to call it a birthday or an anniversary. Either way, I’m glad we have April FBOTM Trevor here to help us celebrate. For about 20 years, I’ve wanted to get the Hildebrandt artwork of Luke and Leia in their iconic pose tattooed on my arm, but I’ve been too chicken. The pain (combined with the permanency) makes me woozy. But when I meet a guy like Trevor, who has literally turned his body into a work of art, I think maybe I could handle one little tattoo. But only if Trevor comes with me. And holds my hand. And films it for the site. Is Hildrebrandt still alive? I’d feel better if he were actually doing the procedure. Or maybe Ralph McQuarrie. The most important thing, though, is the presence of Trevor and the hand-holding.
I may need to give this some more thought. In the meantime, be sure to check back tomorrow for a little birthday/anniversary surprise. (Hint: contest!) Now, on with the good stuff:
• Get your free desktop calendar, featuring April FBOTM Trevor, on the Downloads page.
• See the latest photos from Trevor’s shoot in the Gallery. Three words: hot, hot, hot.
• Learn all about Trevor and how he would survive a zombie attack in the FBOTM Lounge.
• Watch Trevor’s behind-the-scenes video in the FBOTM Lounge or on the FBOTU YouTube page.
• Be sure to check out Trevor’s artwork and modeling portfolio on his official website.
