I really want Ke$ha to go away.  I give her 6 more months.

Personally I’ve had “Telephone” by Lady GaGa in my head.  It’s my ringtone, sure, but I can’t wait for the video on March 2.  Beyonce & GaGa in the Pussy Wagon from “Kill Bill”?  Hell, yeah.

You know, I really felt the same way when I first heard of Ke$ha.  After hearing Tik Tok on the radio a bunch of times, I was like:  “What the hell is so special about this bitch? Why do folks keep talking about her.”

Then I read that she doesn’t take herself seriously at all and decided to give her a chance.  Now I have her “Animal” CD and I have to say the whole thing is pretty catchy, even though she doesn’t have much of a voice and the music is sort of more relevant to a younger crowd.  I dunno how to explain it. haha If any parallel can be drawn...she reminds me slightly of the group Salt ‘n Pepa by way of Miley Cyrus and Alanis Morissette.

You know, I often find Alanis’ voice kind of shrill and whiny, but it works very, very well in that song.  I need to get the soundtrack at some point.

I like it.  I like it more than the original version.  It reminds me a lot of what Sarah Brightman did with Symphony.
