Does anyone else watch this show? I looooooove it. It’s not terribly fanboy related, but the writing and acting are out of this world. Every episode is like a delicious treat. And last night’s episode blew me away!

Love, love, love it.

CHANCE

P.S. Plus, John Hamm is one sexy mo-fo.

As usual, I’m behind. HOWEVER, I have started watching the first season on DVD, and so far I’m loving it.

Just finished the first season DVDs. I did not see Peggy’s twist coming. Catching up on season two this week.

I heart this show.

I want to live in this show, only without the sexism, homophobia and smoking. Okay, I guess I just want the furniture and the clothes. And Betty in a negligee with a shotgun.

Oh my god…I just realized that the guy who plays Pete Campbell (Vincent Kartheiser) was Connor from Angel! Wow, he’s so good at being hate-able.

The shotgun scene was a riot and, according to a featurette on the DVDs, based on something a show writer’s mother actually did. Speaking of the DVDs, the special features on them are fantastic. I only rented them, but I’m tempted to buy the set so I can rewatch the episodes with the cast and crew commentaries. I’m fascinated by the details they work into the show, such as nixing an Etch-a-Sketch in one scene because the toy wasn’t released until two months after the episode took place.

New season of Madmen starts tonight! I fully expect to see Peggy as a partner at Sterling Cooper!
