Yep it is a shame about companions. I hope they’ll have a change of mind on that as time goes on. All depends how they sell after wave 2 I suppose.
Personally I think the likes of Leela and Tegan would sell more than the first three docs
Janet Fielding has been funny about approving likenesses for stuff though, apparently, so she may not approve a figure the same way Billie doesn’t want anymore Rose’s made..
Can anyone tell me ,If what I heard was true?That these would be only sold as a box set?Just asking,I know many people who like armybuilding and would love 6 or 7 weevils.Can you post pics here?
Initially, theyre sold as a set. Though apparently seperately from their own shop, and any dealers who want to carry them (however most will probably want to sell as a set I assume)

I have every figure released except for Novice Hayme. :-( I CAN NOT WAIT for the 4 pack with Astrid (Smiley Kylie) Perth! Though… seriously, why didn’t they put the Doctor in a tux? Anyway… Havoc.. maybe we can work something out, I’ll hook you up with stuff here, you help a brother out with some good ol’ Brit Merch! I also love Character’s redeux of the Scooby Doo line. I LOVE THe mystery Mansion playset. but it’s so expensive with the way our dollar is crap right now.
Kylie and the VOTD set have been out a few months, but have been hard to find till now.
The classics and Season 4 waves should be out any time within the next six weeks. Apparently the classics could arrive early July
I may well need to take people up on trades when MOTU classics hit, so we’ll work something out
Scoobys Mystery Mansion is fab, but at £40 ($80??) its hugely expensive. It bothers me that its not even a mansion but a chalet bungalow.. they could have atleast chucked another cardboard wall in to give it an extra floor level for the money.
HAAAAAA True… I have all of the Scooby figures, ( I managed to get the Baddies 5 pack with the 2 new figs (creeper and Frankenstien) I really hope they produce more stuff and that it gets over here!
Yeah, the Dr. Who sets have been pretty hard to come by, especially in La where trends seem to hit first. Seems everyone LOVES Dr. Who out here, but none of our stores, even specialty ones are getting any merch for it. I was saving so that I could spend bank at comic con. Thats what I did last year. Laid down hundreds to get myself and my bf caught up.
Good news! Character Options have Season 4 up for pre order (theyre advertised as ‘in stock’ but apparently wont be shipping orders till around 26th) so I still have 2 or 3 weeks till I hold a little Catherine in my hands..
It seems that ironically the first Classic series figure is going to be available in the united states before we’ve had them over here :( Don’t forget to look for the Time Crash set at the comic con. UK fans are going to be rabid for them. Celery anyone?
Well, I ordered those series 4 figures from character options, and am still waiting..
However, tonight I found em at TRU!
So Series 4 figures have finally hit retail. AND they also had the classic Daleks box set, so hopefully the classic figures are only a week or so away!
You know I just got a sonic screwdriver and RC K-9 yesterday. I walked into my local Book/music/trendy emo store and saw that they were on sale. K-9 was 30 dollars less than he was on Amazon, so I snagged him.
Well, the classics line did indeed show up over the summer, and are seemingly FAR more popular than series 4 and selling out in record time. So popular infact that character options have commisioned another run from the factory. something it seems they were not expecting.
The only bit of news at the moment is a generic Time Lord army builder, and Jabe have been announced for an upcoming 123 wave. Classics news is that all ten doctors have been sculpted, and the remaining docs are awaiting actor/estate approval.
The Stolen Earth set with Davros is also now available at the shops and a 1.5 wave of series 4 is on the way with a carded Davros, Supreme Dalek and the Judoon captain reissued as refreshes.
Wowsers, that sure is a lot of babies.
