I’ve been sat here for a good chunk of the morning now, too antsy to step away from the computer for very long… just in case Mattel decide to change the time.  I won’t be able to relax and go about my day until I get that order in.  smile

I got He-Man ordered. Im having to have Beast man sent to another address in the hopes of avoiding the import tax (should get them quicker too if not held for ransom) but I have to check the post code before ordering so I hope he doesnt sell out too quickly smile

Everything went smooth for me too.  Got all the He-Man and Beast Mans I wanted and decided to splurge on UPS Next Day shipping.  Now I wait for shipping confirmation…

You’re so lucky! I’m not even entirely sure my order went through properly thanks to the ‘payment method name’ not lining up correctly mistake, and Matty not caring enough to have a customer services email address.

Oh no. Matty doesn’t like Nick. Want me to kick his ass?

Yes. Tell him he needs to get a customer support email or you’ll knock that silly hat right off his head..

Since I’m getting the figures via someone very helpful anyway, I guess if my order didn’t go through correctly, and there’s no way for me to contact them to correct it, they can keep it. Its not my fault I cant contact them. I’m not even sure if 0800 lines work overseas. and Im sure they can’t be free..

Im guessing they can’t charge my card because I misunderstood the way the page was laid out with..

“Payment method
Name”

and was confused as to what to put there, so I put my name as it appears on the card, which is usually needed for buying online.
Ive gone in and changed the details in my account but it still says ‘order processing’ and had no email for my second order atall.

So long as they don’t charge me and not send the figures I wont bother trying to call.

Anyway, I won’t be bothering buying direct from Matty again until they have a customer services email set up. Its not worth stressing over.

If I understand correctly, the payment method name is similar to when they ask you to name an address, like “Home” or “Work.” I forget what I put under payment method name. I think I put, “Credit Card.” They’ll keep your info on file, so next time you order, you can just choose the payment method by name, instead of entering all your info again. So it seems perfectly fine that you put in your name.

As long as it still stays “order processing” you should be fine. In terms of calling the Customer Service number, I’d suggest calling through Skype, so it should only cost a few cents. Or PM me your order number and I’ll call them for you.

You’re in California, right?  How about the direct approach for Nick’s order?  ...you showing up at the distribution center with Fanboys video camera in hand, threatening to expose their operations.  LOL

A full fanboy assault on El Segundo will have to wait, I’m afraid. I won’t be back in the Los Angeles area until next summer. Besides, everything’s probably in another country anyway, where children are forced to assemble He-Man’s awesome body day and night, without rest. I imagine it’s very similar to the whole Temple of Doom situation.

I got my He-man shipping confirmation, but nothing about Beast man yet. So may need to chase that one up in a week or two if nothing happens.

I wonder if Hasbro has the same temple of doom set up. Can you imagine the paradox of Short Round making Short Round figures?
