Good thing Mattel decided to put something up on there early and that someone discovered the web site address.  Gives them at least a couple days to fix it.  (It seems like over half the board members can’t access!)  Could you imagine the mess that would be created if this all happened on launch day?  Only a small percentage would have a chance at the King Grayskull figure.

this whole MOTU revival still feels half arsed and bittersweet to me..

2 figures per person better mean just that and not ‘per household’ or some people are not going to be happy.

I wanted some extras for customs, but Im wary of ordering more than one at a time anyway incase they send both together and get me an import tax bill.

Its exciting, but why does MOTU always have to be a double edged sword of good and bad.. its the nature of this beast

Apparently almost everyone did. The toy guru has answered saying their web vendor has let them down by promising them stability and then not being able to cope with demand, and that they will do everything they can to ensure this same problem does not happen in October..

Personally though, I think it will.. because if they can’t cope with the US and Canada demand, can you imagine what it will be like when they are offering He-man to the entire world??

Yep.

First the site kept crashing on me, repeatedly.

Then after finally getting to the Paypal page where I’m supposed to hit “continue” to confirm payment on the next page, their site crashes again ‘cause it’s unable to pull the info. from their site.

Then I get an e-mail telling me that I put in my order but they haven’t got payment yet, so I have to put in a new order if I still want the items.  I cancel my order, only to find out from toyguru that that’s normal.    Means the payment went through.  I just now got it to work…1 hour 15 minutes later.

I’m happy there’s a collector’s site. And I’m sure all these kinks will be worked out. My main concern is that Matty gives me the creeps. And you should have seen him in person.

But I will give him my money, anyway.

Yeah, Matty was kinda creepy. It reminds me of the King from Burger King, which kinda scares me in my dreams sometimes.

I am so happy I got my KG through someone going to SDCC this year. I just hope it gets here soon! I just hope it isn’t a chase version. I hate the idea of having to do a trade. And I said on .org and I will say it again. Skeletor is so pretty!

That’s EXACTLY how I felt with the 200X line.  I mean, I was excited to get new figures and to see what all the characters would look like, updated, but wasn’t too keen on the style and poses.  I’m freaking-out about MOTUC though.  To me, they’re way better.
