Having watched a lot of bad Saturday afternoon adventure movies as a kid, quicksand was almost always a factor in my playtime. Plus, there was that bog in the Dagobah playset that characters could easily sink into. But I don’t think I’ve given it much thought since then.

During my freshman year of college, during the infancy of the internet, a friend of mine would do random searches all the time.  That is, until he typed in “avalanche” and a found a very detailed, thorough, and professional (even for 1995) web site devoted to people with mudslide fetishes.

Yes, this fetish seems to have no limits. Even in the furry fandom one will find folks that enjoy being pull under by quicksand There is even a yahoo group run by a furry artist that loves to show characters being pull under.

Oh, how this takes me back to my childhood and the many games I would play with my friends of having adventures and you could always bet there would be some way quicksand would play a part in that adventure. This play base on so many of the old Black and White shows and movies I would see as a child. What a time.

Maybe it’s because they main character would have to be rescued by a long phallic rope?
