I just wanted to quickly introduce myself. I’m Tony from NC, 36. I’ve been reading comics since they were 75 cents (haha!) - so…for a while now!

How cool is it that there is a site for gay comic geeks? I love it! I’ve been perusing the boards a bit for the past few days, seems like you guys have a wonderful community here! I must admit though that the Fanboy of the Month videos and pics have garnered most of my attention! Sexy!

I’m currently reading mostly DC stuff but that’s only because I had to cut back a few years ago on titles - and the X-Universe was getting too hard to stay on top of. I love the X-Men - some of my fave storylines were in X-Men comics…admittedly, back in the day though. I did buy the new X-Men #1 but haven’t read it yet.

My favorite superhero is Wonder Woman. I fell in love with her once I started watching the TV show when I was little. I’d watch an episode, get all pumped up and then go outside, lariat attached to my hip, and run around while humming the theme song. I so wanted to be Wonder Boy! I got to meet Lynda Carter last year and she is as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. I also love Superman, Rogue and Nightcrawler. What a mixed bag, huh?

Welcome! Yeah I had to cut back as well on my reading. X-men got wayyyy too bloated and confusing to me. I am enjoying second coming though. WW I have abandoned all hope on.

I still get the WW comic but I haven’t really enjoyed a storyline for quite sometime. I not a fan of the new costume or the new origin…however I am all for an interesting storyline, especially since I am certain this new costume isn’t permanent. I think it’s good that it made the news though! Thanks for the welcome!

Hehehe..oh see seeing you saying you been enjoying comics since they were .75c, only reminded me of the first time I sent money on one. Back then it was just near the end of comic costing .10c. If only I still had the comics of that time now.

Welcome to FBOTU!  75 cents…that takes me back.  Part of the reason I stopped reading comics (besides the rampant stupidity of some of the X-title plots) was the cost.  Now, it’s only the odd graphic novel.  Hope you enjoy the site!
