BBC has just announced that not only will Torchwood be returning for a fourth season but so will John Barrowman and Eve Myles. Apparently after talking with FOX about an American version Fox decided to pull out, something tells me they wanted to nix Jacks gayness.

Now with funding from STARZ they’ll be producing a fourth season that won’t just be filmed in the UK anymore. According to the Guardian the series will be shot in several locations, and not JUST in Wales as before, including the US and other locations around the world.

When i heard about the Starz part i was a little if-ish cause Spartacus is so awful but this definitely means that not only Jack’s sexuality secure BUT we’ll probably get some extra gay slapped on for good measure.

STARZ is a good choice, I think. I’m just surprised BBC America is out of the picture, since it was such a huge ratings powerhouse for them.

Wow! It didn’t even occur to me that it’d be airing on Starz instead of BBCA… that really sucks i guess i’ll just download it like i do the Doctor and then by the DVDs… man now i’m said well at least there’s going to be more. I wonder if Syfy will rebroadcast them

Fingers crossed for Russell Tovey (Alonse) joining the team! (so long as it doesnt conflict with Being Human s4.. But then again, the thought of some potential man on man action would make up for that)

I’d rather Jack just be celibate (or straight!) than have them kill off everyone he cares about at the end of every season.

wasn’t there a scene in the first season of Torchwood where Jack performed mouth to mouth and some of the time vortex went into Ianto? Or am i confusing things? If i’m not that’d be a pretty great way at snatching him back from the dead… I do love me some Ianto.... but then again if Midshipman came back we’d probably get some more sexy make out scenes

IM REALLY HAPPY TO HEAR THAT A FOURTH SEASON IS GOING TO HAPPEN I MEAN THE WAY THE MOVIE ENDED I WANTED THERE TO BE ANOTHER SEASON OF TORCHWOOD. I DO AGREE WITH THE PREVIOUS POST I DO MISS TOSH AND OWEN. BUT I WILL TRY TO MANAGE AND HAVE THEM LIVE IN MY MEMORY.
