And so she’s back…from outer space. She just flew in to find Apollo with that sad look upon his face. 

Kara “Starbuck” Thrace is back, which gave everyone the opportunity to say her full name about a thousand times during the season premiere. We also found out that Colonel Tigh is a Cylon, which gives me hope that his acting software can be dialed down a few decibels in his programming.

All of that aside, season 4 is off to a good start! I haven’t watched the third episode yet, but will catch up and post more this week before the new episode.

Ooooookay. I just watched the third episode, “The Ties That Bind,” and that was pretty fracked up. Though it was a pretty effective warning on the dangers of taking too much cold medicine. I am glad Lucy Lawless will be back. Though it would be funny if Hudson Leick came back in her place.

Oy. I just watched the latest episode, “Escape Velocity.” I love Mary McDonnell. But it’s a complicated issue. I think we all know the dangers of granting a President too much power during a state of emergency. And yes, I think she’s right and I want people to just do what she says. But then you’re sacrificing freedom for the sake of safety.

At the end of last week’s episode, I was promised that “ALL WILL BE REVEALED” in the following episode. But really nothing was revealed at all. But they promised again at the end of this week’s episode that next week “ALL WILL BE REVEALED.” I’m beginning to think they’re toying with me.

Finally, I don’t get why they keep trying to portray Baltar as some sort of charismatic sex symbol that everyone wants to shag. He’s so creepy and not sexy at all. Does anyone think he’s sexy or has any sexual magnetism or charisma at all?

I’m solidly convinced that the final cylon is going to be something incredibly lame, like Kendra Shaw or another word for Earth.  Or maybe it’ll be Starbuck’s mom (Naomi!).

Has anybody seen the spoilers floating around for episode 9?  I won’t give them away here in case anyone is spoiler-phobic, but they sound genuine/in keeping with what we know about the mid-season storyline.

I am now two episodes behind! I have to catch up this weekend!
