Reports are coming in that ToyFare #152 (coming this Wednesday) shows a TRU exclusive 2-Pack of Superman and He-Man with a reprint of the DC Comic they appeared in.

I’ll probably skip the He-Man 2-pack. I’m happy with the one (2 including BA) I’ve got, and the comic-accurate colors aren’t doing much for me.

Skeletor though… judging from the ‘prototype’ pics, which look really good, I may be tempted to get his 2-pack even though I already have the initial release. I guess I’m just a sucker for Skeletor. I’ve never owned a DC figure in my life. I wonder who they’ll pack him with?

I have never read this comic, so I’m excited about getting this!

I’ll skip the He-Man vs. Superman and Skeletor vs. Lex Luthor two-packs, but I’d be very happy to see a She-Ra vs. Wonder Woman set.

And possibly a Stratos vs. Hawkman. Not to mention Mer-Man vs. Aquaman. And whatever other wacky combinations they will come up with if the first two sets of two-packs sell well enough.

So these have started hitting stores in limited quantity in the Midwest.  Here in L.A. nothing so far.  It seems they’re being shortpacked for the initial shipments (2 of each 2-pack per box!).  Hoping that they start putting more out there and that this leads to some MOTUC-only 2-packs in the near future…

Yeah, I understand that the sword isn’t in the story, but if Superman had his cape ripped off, would they have left that out, too?

I know right Themy, He-Man just isn’t He-Man without his sword

He does - it’s meant to mirror the look of the sword in the comic, which is odd because Lex isn’t anywhere near said comic, but I suppose that’s better than duping the He-Man or Supes figure…
