I would assume this is Christina Aguilera.  Why?  Because you (Tallstar) posted it. 

Seriously, it sounds a lot like Goldfrapp’s first album, but that’s not Alison in those videos…the eyes are not hers.  And Goldfrapp has never really used this kind of strange, Ringu-like imagery for their stuff (and I doubt they would use pastoral motifs so soon after they did the hippie meadow look for Seventh Tree).  Plus, based on who Christina’s worked with for the new album—Goldfrapp, Sia, Le Tigre, Ladytron—this is perfect.

I’m fascinated.  I hope the whole album is this freaky-deaky, because I’ll love every second of it.

I’m actually not 100% sure.  Some are convinced it’s Christina (wearing contacts) because of the Goldfrapp and Ladytron-ish influences, others think it’s GaGa or Karin of The Knife.  Those are the Top 3 getting exposure from these videos.

I don’t think it’s GaGa.  While it could be, and it’s odd enough for her to do, it doesn’t fit what she’s been doing at all.  AT ALL.  GaGa is still doing Fame Monster on tour and releasing singles from that, so she would do something with much more bombast and glamour.  If there had been a year since “Bad Romance”, for instance, I could buy that since she might be going in a new musical direction.  But even GaGa might think twice about showing a chicken given birth.
