Poor Doctor. Lindsay Duncan is a great choice for this. I remember her as Servilia in Rome . And look! It’s Peter O’Brien from Queer as Folk . Nice of Russell to hire him again.
Even with the water monsters, I’d still like to go to Mars.

Ugh…cute robots. Reminds me of the “roger roger” battle droids in Clone Wars . The Doctor’s approval of dog robots was a cute reference, though.

Can you imagine? Getting the call from your agent that you’ve been cast in Doctor Who ? Then you find out you’re going to be dripping wet the whole time and in really grotesque makeup.
You know, no one does the soaring emotional scenes like Davies. Brooke’s Dalek memory was beautifully done.

This airlock scene is heartbreakingly brilliant…Tennant emotes like hell through that space suit…and Adelaide’s face…oh, le sigh…we’re losing him so soon, but at least he’d going out in grand style.

All this water is making me thirsty. It also makes me think of Dark Water . But a very effective (and cheap) villain, I must say. Very cool.

Wow! Great, great stuff. They really have the editing/music/drama formula down. It’s really thrilling to see Tennant lose it like this and take the Doctor down this manic path.
I wanted to see what was coming out of the ice though!
