Does she have one that is about the “Fear of the Burning When I Pee Monster”?

I hear she wrote one about that, but in the end she decided to give it to Courtney Love, who then wrote incoherently about it on her blog, so nobody knew it ever happened.

haha!  Yeah, monsters, vampires, horror movies etc. are used as metaphors in the songs.  There’s a lot of layers there.

Like when she throws out the Hitchcock movie references in Bad Romance (Psycho, Vertigo and Rear Window), it’s a metaphor for being so in love with someone that you want the deepest, darkest, sickest parts of them that they’re afraid to show to the rest of the world.  That song’s about ‘Fear of the Love Monster.’ Dance in the Dark is ‘Fear of the Rejection Monster’...Teeth is ‘Fear of the Truth Monster’ and so on and so forth.

Monster = Fear of dating someone who might actually be a zombie and you hadn’t noticed. Right?

She’s changing up the whole live show for 2010. Can’t wait to see her in Aus in March. I saw her once before right before JUST DANCE was about to hit big. Was in a tiny club with a small screaming fanbase. Now she’s so big. Love her, love the new EP.
