This is one of the most freak-tastic videos I’ve ever seen, and I’m including everything Bjork’s done.  There’s just really no good way to describe it.  It’s kind of like the body horror and class warfare of Videodrome crossed with the scene with the nurses in the film version of Silent Hill set in the hotel room from the end of 2001: A Space Odyssey.  Plus, there’s some Matrix effects and Fifth Element costumes thrown in.  And the ending is a fantastic meditation on the cost of fame.

However, it fits the song well, which itself is a deconstruction of “Just Dance” and “Poker Face”, GaGa’s biggest hits.  It has the same beat, but it’s definitely going in a darker direction despite its infectiousness.  GaGa seems to be commenting on her own music, and the results are pretty damn cool.

Plus, you get to see GaGa without two pounds of of Jem and the Holograms makeup…and wow, she’s actually pretty.

Can’t stop listening to it the song it’s so catchy, the video it’s like they threw Kylie and Madonna into a blender and it threw up this masterpiece.

The popular insult for GaGa haters is “She’s a tranny.”  Personally, I think that’s offensive on a number of levels but people can think what they want.  I think people are put off by GaGa’s eccentricities and so they do what most people do when they want to insult a woman, and that is to attack her femininity and fertility.

My mother kind of like her before, but after I showed her the video for “Bad Romance”, she’s a total GaGa fan now.

Its horribly addictive, at first I didn’t like it now I can’t get enough
