This new season of South Park is just as out there as any other.  My favorite Highlights so far are Cartman’s Rock Band rendition of “Poker Face.”  Here’s a link to a fan video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qST5eVLudrQ

The other interesting moment is when Emmanuel Lewis (of Webster’s Dictionary, of course) shows up to South Park to officially change the definition of the other “F-word” to mean an obnoxious Harley Davidson rider.  I wasn’t sure what to make of it, but it actually lines up with my definition of the F-word.

You knew I had to comment on this, right?

The “f-word” episode was interesting. I get what they’re saying. I respect Matt and Trey, but I don’t always agree with their point of view. I got that they believe that the meanings of some words change over time. But they seemed to suggest that NO ONE uses “faggot” as a derogatory term towards homosexuals anymore, which is simply not true. Just because THEY don’t, doesn’t mean it’s universal. The changes in definition that they referenced happened over hundreds of years. There are still plenty of people using that word in a hateful way towards gays and erasing those memories or changing its use would take decades.

It was a funny episode, and I laughed, especially at the Harley riders at the library. I wonder how that fan base reacted to the show.
