Why don’t we plan a meet up at like Intelligencia and then head over to The Secret Headquarters? Or something like that, I don’t drink coffee but it’s a just a suggestion as this meet up hasn’t gotten off the ground

I’m going to see Scott Pilgrim on Sunday, August 15 at Arclight Hollywood at 7:40PM, then staying for the post-show discussion with the Executive Producer. If anyone would like to go and meet up before, there’s a Borders across the street on Sunset/Vine with a Seattle’s Best Coffee inside. If you don’t want to go to the movie, but just want to meet up, you’re welcome to come. And if you don’t like coffee, I’m sure they have something else.

I’ll be at Borders at 6:00, wearing a FBOTU t-shirt. Can’t miss me.

Well this died hard… kind of. I can’t believe I missed Chance’s invite to go see Scott Pilgrim boo on me. I apologize for the lack of planning on my part given the fact that I first created this thread had a lot on my plate when the momentum started building.

I wonder if any of LA’s gay geeks are still looking to hang out?

Gosh I feel like I’m trying to hookup with a guy I’ve repeatedly blown off and not in a good way. Either way…

So Nuart in Santa Monica is doing a Midnight showing of “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” on the 15th of February. Anyone interested in meeting up before and then going together?

I’m sure we’ve all seen it at some point either on screen or at home but it’s always a fun time.  Anyways, let me know! I might be able to get some passes too.

The Nuart has some great midnight screenings A LOT of them are geek and gay oriented and not as many hipsters as Cinefamily. They also have the longest running Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast in LA and do a bi-yearly one for Hedwig and The Angry Inch. Check out the calendar maybe we could make this a regular thing.
