Anybody watching this show? Fell in love with it last season. So far in I’m enjoying it better.

I watch it every week (though I missed this past Sunday because I am at the beach). Love the show can’t wait to see what’s in store.

So far is great, and this season Pam and Eric are my favorites. Loooooove me some Eric. He can turn me any day he wants :-D. Pam is just fab oozing of bitcheness and style. Very fun season so far.

So Tara escapes and runs back to Maryann. Fine. Let her go. But why, oh why, would Sookie and Lafayette go after her without some vamp backup? I hope they all die.

I have to say, Tara’s mom getting clobbered in the head with a paperweight was the high point of the series for me.

LOVE this show. Also highly enjoy the books, although they’re starting to get a little repetitive as the fairly obvious love triangle is dragged out.

Definitely my favourite show of 2009 so far. BUT I really wish they had cast Lucy Lawless as Mary-Anne. I love Michelle Forbes, but I think Lucy Lawless would have just devoured that part and really done something incredible with it. At least I have her role as “Lucretia” in the “all naked, all the time” Spartacus to look forward to.

Here’s an interview with Alan Ball, where he answers some questions about the finale.

My only question is why couldn’t Tara have died?!

Just when I swore I would never watch this show again, this news news came out:

“If you’re one of the (many) True Blood viewers who suspected there might be fallout from Bill ‘donating’ blood to save Sam’s life in the finale last September, go ahead and give yourself a gold star. The show’s boss, Alan Ball, tells me that in season 3, the hunks will forge ‘not just any connection, an erotic connection.’”

Okay, I’m on board if it’s an erotic connection. But I have a feeling it’s going to be more like Sam getting to have sex with Sookie vicariously.

I’m guessing erotic dreams on the part of Sam about himself and Bill. I don’t think it will go beyond that. Eric might play both ways, but I get the feeling Bill doesn’t.

Lafayette said he was having erotic dreams about Eric, but I don’t think we ever “saw” his dreams (although we did see the dreams Sookie was having about Eric).

Can’t wait for the next season, although I’m getting slightly concerned about all the material and story-lines it seems they’re trying to cover in just one season.

It really is a great show. Season 3 will premier June 13, 2010.
