They’ve been pulling these almost as soon as they’re posted, so this might be gone before you get to listen to it. It’s a very restrained ballad, which is a little surprising. I thought she might do a dance single first, to sort of get people energized and excited about the new album. Still, I’m really looking forward to new Whitney.

I’m looking forward to new Whitney as well, but this single was just…OK.  Wasn’t that exciting to me.

I liked the single.  It’s only a matter of time before someone remixes it.

Agreed.  I didn’t get a chance to hear it before it got pulled, but “New Whitney Single” = “Remix the hell out of that sucka.”

Thunderpuss is played out.  Their remix of “Die Another Day” was HORRIBLE.  But I can imagine Dave Aude, Bimbo Jones, and Rich Morel will be up there.  They tend to go big for the divas.  Morel produced Cyndi Lauper’s last album and Dave Aude has been doing remixes for Lady GaGa.

Looks like Whitney is slated to be #1 on the US sales charts.  They’re estimating she’ll pull in 250,000 to 275,000 on the new album.
