just seeing if there’s anyone around and what not gets kind of boring and not enough gay geeks around as far as i know. Maybe we could all meet up and hang out etc see the latest geek flick. i just got into geocaching and me and a friend, not a gay but somewhat geeky, are coming up with a cool treasure hunt game involving teams.

Hey guys!

I’m a 40 year young gay guy. Been lurking around the site for years. With the ending of the worst relationship known to man and the success of my current one, I’m able to return to my geek roots. While my geek based items suffered over the years, my current partner has been quite happy to help me start rebuilding. He’s even delving into his own inner geek.

My geek odyssey started a long time ago. At age 7, I saw Star Wars on the big screen and life has never been the same since. I collect comics, play Xbox 360 and PS3, do table top rpg, wear geek clothing as much as possible, make apropos movie quotes and geek as hard as I possibly can.

It’s been several years since I’ve been allowed to indulge in geeking. I’m very happy to be back and look forward to making a lot of friends here.

Love the site. I’m a big scifi/fantasy TV fan and love Supernatural, Buffy, Doctor Who, Fringe, etc. I’m also a fan of BBC America. In terms of comics, I like Young Avengers, Teen Titans, Batwoman, Nightwing and Astonishing X-Men.

Greetings! I’m Bryan the Bear from Flame On!, a relatively recent addition to the geeky gay podcast microgenre. We found out about this awesome site from Gay Comic Geek himself, Paul. If you’re interested, please check out our podcast, including the upcoming episode with Paul fresh off our visit to MegaCon 2012. Also, if any of you are in Orlando, we host an occasional gay reading/games group at A Comic Shop called Homoz 4 Heroz. We’d love to meet you out there.

From past examples, something that really seems to help bond small communities together on other forums are picture pages!
Its like a getting to know you thread. Everyone (who wants to) posts a pic of themselves so we know what who we’re talking to looks like.

Some of you guys obviously have a pic as your avatar, which is cool.
I’ll get the ball rolling with a jokey picture..

Howdy, My names Aj Ive been a member of a lot of forums -predominately He-man.org and Jemcon- for years, and a .org freind suggested I sign up here, saying what a fantastic community it is.

Im a 38 year old Gay Geek, into all forms of pop culture, but mainly Vintage toy collecting. main collection is my complete (well….99.9%!) JEM collection, and my 30 years in the making MOTU collection.

my TV loves are x-Files,Supernatural,Golden girls,Doctor who (classic),Being Human,RPDR,Friends,AYBS,Whedonverse..and many more.

fave Film is JAWS, Followed by Bram stokers Dracula,League of their Own,Priscilla QOTD (which I had the honor of being an extra in), Shirley Valentine….the list go’s on…and on!
